Dueling Faith/End-of-Life Studies?

Full text of the Belgium study, just released, that shows palliative care has a direct effect on approval of assisted suicide. The study, which I have yet to read in full but can't wait to, apparently counters a March American study that shows the religious favor extreme medical measures at the end of life. If this is the case, if the two studies do in some ways contradict, and if they are indeed reflective of Belgium and American beliefs and ideas (conducted nationally, not internationally), I am going to have fun asking questions about why.

You can join me! Read them both and let me know what you think!
